Salinização do solo em áreas irrigadas: Aspectos físicos e químicos

A irrigação no semiárido nordestino se faz necessária para garantir a produtividade das culturas, se constituindo em uma importante alternativa de garantir a produção de alimentos mesmo em períodos de escassez de chuvas (FIGUEIRÊDO, 2005). Porém esse fato pode provocar aumento na densidade do solo, devido ao baixo teor de matéria orgânica em solos tropicais e principalmente, ao excesso de sais na superfície. Os sais se acumulam no solo provocando mudanças nas suas propriedades físicas e químicas, alterando o conteúdo de bases trocáveis no solo, contribuindo com a degradação do solo. Esse processo pode ser agravado pelo a utilização de implementos de forma mais intensa visando a maximização da produção e em condições de excesso de umidade característicos desse sistema de cultivo. O objetivo dessa revisão é abordar os problemas gerados pela prática de irrigação sobre a qualidade dos solos por meio das suas propriedades físicas e químicas, visto que os mesmo estão sujeitos a sofrer mais agressões quando comparados a solos sob sistemas não irrigados.

Esta é uma revista de acesso livre, onde, utiliza o termo de cessão seguindo a lei nº 9.610/1998, que altera, atualiza e consolida a legislação sobre direitos autorais no Brasil.

O CEDENTE cede e transfere todos os direitos autorais relativos à OBRA à CESSIONÁRIA, especialmente os direitos de edição, de publicação, de tradução para outro idioma e de reprodução por qualquer processo ou técnica através da assinatura deste termo impresso que deverá ser submetido via correios ao endereço informado no início deste documento;
A CESSIONÁRIA passa a ser proprietária exclusiva dos direitos referentes à OBRA, sendo vedada qualquer reprodução, total ou parcial, em qualquer outro meio de divulgação, impresso ou eletrônico, sem que haja prévia autorização escrita por parte da CESSIONÁRIA.
