Eficiência fotossintética em duas gramíneas irrigadas sob diferentes águas

Abstract

Esta pesquisa visa analisar a influência de diferentes tipos de água na eficiência fotossintética (fotossíntese, transpiração, condutância estomática, concentração interna de CO2 e relação entre a concentração interna de CO2 com a concentração ambiental) das espécies forrageiras Tifton 85 e Gramão, plantadas em vasos preenchidos com solo Argissolo Amarelo Eutrófico Abrúptico Plíntico. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, disposto no esquema fatorial (3x2) com doze repetições, totalizando 72 unidades experimentais cujos fatores foram: três tipos de água e duas variedades. O cultivo foi realizado em ambiente protegido localizado na Embrapa Semiárido, Petrolina, PE, no período de outubro de 2010 a janeiro de 2011. As gramíneas foram cultivadas em vasos irrigados com diferentes águas (abastecimento, poço e viveiro de peixe), com turno de rega a cada dois dias. As culturas irrigadas com água de abastecimento apresentaram melhores valores para fotossíntese enquanto os melhores resultados para transpiração foram obtidos quando se usou água de poço. De modo geral as plantas responderam melhor a irrigação com a água proveniente do viveiro de peixes.
