Compactação rumino-omasal decorrente da ingestão do caule de Musa sp. em bovinos: relato de dois casos

Abstract

Os autores descrevem a compactação rumino-omasal causada pela ingestão do caule de bananeiras (Musa sp.) em bovinos. Os casos ocorreram em dois bovinos, sendo um macho de 1,6 anos e uma fêmea de quatro anos de idade com sete meses de gestação mestiços das raças Nelore e Gir, respectivamente, oriundos de uma propriedade rural do munucípio de Brejo da Madre de Deus, estado de Pernambuco. Os sinais clínicos observados foram: apetite ausente; temperatura retal e as frequências cardíaca e respiratória normais; timpanismo severo com movimentos ruminais aumentados; abaulamento do abdômen e sons com características de macicez ampla a absoluta na percussão da região; fezes ausentes. Na necropsia foi observada uma massa compacta de material seco e indigerível de coloração amarela, semelhante a fibras de sisal no rúmen e omaso e intestinos com muco e pouco conteúdo de ingesta de coloração escura e fétida. A alimentação de bovinos sob restrição alimentar com caule de Musa sp. favoreceu a ocorrência da compactação rumino-omasal. No entanto, essa fonte de alimento pode ser considerada uma boa opção para a alimentação de bovinos, desde que seja fornecido em proporções adequadas na dieta.

Termo de cessão de direitos autorais da Revista Agropecuária Científica no Semiárido:

Esta é uma revista de acesso livre, onde, utiliza o termo de cessão seguindo a lei nº 9.610/1998, que altera, atualiza e consolida a legislação sobre direitos autorais no Brasil.

Autores que publicam na Revista Agropecuária Científica no Semiárido(ACSA) concordam com os seguintes termos:O(s) autor(es) doravante designado(s) CEDENTE, por meio desta, cede e transfere, de forma gratuita, a propriedade dos direitos autorais relativos à OBRA à Revista Agropecuária Científica no Semiárido(ACSA), representada pelo CSTR/UFCG, estabelecida no Campus de Patos-PB doravante designada CESSIONÁRIA, nas condições descritas a seguir:

O CEDENTE declara que é (são) autor(es) e titular(es) da propriedade dos direitos autorais da OBRA submetida;

O CEDENTE declara que a OBRA não infringe direitos autorais e/ou outros direitos de propriedade de terceiros, que a divulgação de imagens (caso as mesmas existam) foi autorizada e que assume integral responsabilidade moral e/ou patrimonial, pelo seu conteúdo, perante terceiros;

O CEDENTE cede e transfere todos os direitos autorais relativos à OBRA à CESSIONÁRIA, especialmente os direitos de edição, de publicação, de tradução para outro idioma e de reprodução por qualquer processo ou técnica através da assinatura deste termo impresso que deverá ser submetido via correios ao endereço informado no início deste documento;

A CESSIONÁRIA passa a ser proprietária exclusiva dos direitos referentes à OBRA, sendo vedada qualquer reprodução, total ou parcial, em qualquer outro meio de divulgação, impresso ou eletrônico, sem que haja prévia autorização escrita por parte da CESSIONÁRIA.
