Simulação do número ideal de indivíduos no método bulk em autógamas

Resumen

O método bulk apresenta como principal limitação perdas de progênies durante a amostragem. Estudos para entender ou minimizar o seu efeito são escassos. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar o efeito da amostragem no método bulk em plantas autógamas. Para isso, foram simuladas várias configurações considerando as gerações F4 e F24 e as famílias F4:5,  F4:6 e F24:25. Os efeitos no número médio de locos favoráveis, da variância genética e do número de alelos favoráveis, foram mensurados ao longo das 1000 simulações de cada configuração. As simulações contemplaram diferentes herdabilidades, interações alélicas e números de locos. O efeito da amostragem foi avaliado com diferentes tamanhos de bulk os quais foram 50, 200, 1000, 2000 e 5000 indivíduos. Conclui-se que na determinação do número de indivíduos no método bulk deve-se considerar a herdabilidade do caráter. O bulk de 2000 indivíduos nas condições simuladas mostrou-se eficiente.
