Resumen

As relações quantitativas de ciclagem de nutrientes minerais nos ecossistemas como parte integrante dos ciclos biogeoquímico são na atualidade objetos de numerosos estudos em todas as regiões do globo. Tratando-se de minerais contaminantes, como os metais pesados, conhecidos pela sua toxidade e persistência no ambiente, o conhecimento da dinamicidade no sistema solo- planta- atmosfera, é um ponto de partida para prever os impactos causados no meio biótico e abiótico. A contaminação dos recursos naturais com esses elementos é frequentemente associada às ações antropogênicas, no entanto, este fenômeno pode ocorrer de forma natural. Estes compostos no solo podem afetar o padrão de distribuição das espécies de plantas no espaço, assim como incrementar o intemperismo e os teores de metais via biodisponibilização no âmbito da rizosfera. Dentre os contaminantes, destaca-se o Chumbo (Pb), este não possui nenhuma função biológica conhecida, sendo acumulativo em mamíferos e tóxico para plantas. Portanto, o objetivo deste trabalho é fazer uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a ciclagem do chumbo, de forma a entender o seu comportamento/dinâmica no ambiente.
